TOMs - An Introduction - Part One
MedShr and the Community Therapists Network are excited to announce this new online training program: An Introduction to using the Therapy Outcome Measures (TOMs).
This is a training programme, designed in two parts, for all professionals working across health and social care and/or education, to capture reliable, evidence-based outcome data to reflect the value of their service. Upon completion you receive a training certificate for your CPD portfolio. Lifetime access to training materials only is included. Find out more at medshr.it/toms-online
In this first part of the TOMs Online Workshop, you will be presented with and will work through a series of videos, each with various multiple-choice questions, designed to consolidate and help embed your TOMs knowledge gained via the module. A video is presented of each topic, followed by a selection of multiple-choice questions, which in real time enable you to see whether you have answered the question correctly and, if not, to present the correct answer and explain why. As previous explained, this is an 'open-book' assessment, meaning you must achieve the pass mark for you to gain the certificate for this training.
An example of how the page will look is below:
Please note that the training content is reviewed regularly, and the downloadable PDF of the slides may be slightly updated. Therefore, some of the slides will have minor differences to the slides presented on the videos. But be assured that these subtle changes which often reflect organisational differences do not affect the core principles of 'how to use the TOMs' . We hope that the latest version of the slides will provide useful context which often changes in health, education and social services
