Resus Council Releases New Guidelines
Notable additions are
Advice not to listen for breathing at the patients mouth when checking for signs of life
State COVID risk to 2222
Minimise number of staff in the room
Need for full PPE (gown, gloves, eye mask, FFP3) before CPR
Start with chest compressions-only CPR
Fully AGP PPE equip persons to secure airway and undertake bag mask valve ventilation
