COVID-19 Case Fatality Rate by Age

The elderly are at a greatly increased risk of mortality, with a case-fatality rate of between 9.3 and 20.2% in those patients with COVID-19 aged over 80, and between 5.3% and 12.5% in those aged 70-79.
